Lots of Ways to Get Involved.
From the Hood to the Woods
STEAM-based wilderness experience
From the Hood to the Woods immerses 12 urban youth in a transformative STEAM-based wilderness experience on 33 acres of forested watershed along Reeves Creek, Stockbridge, GA. This program connects young people to science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through hands-on environmental education, while restoring ecologically and culturally significant land historically stewarded by the Muscogee (Creek) people.
Trash to Treasure
West End Upcycling Program
WE UP “Trash to Treasure” is a hands-on creative reuse and design program that introduces participants to sustainable making, tool literacy, and collaborative problem-solving through the transformation of discarded and low-cost materials into functional art. Over six weeks, participants design and construct a custom canvas—progressing from concept development and material selection to construction, finishing, and public exhibition.
Inter-Cultural Literacy and Cross-Cultural Relations
Multidisciplinary Arts and Education
Inter-Cultural Literacy and Cross-Cultural Relations is a multidisciplinary arts and education program that strengthens global awareness, cultural competence, and communication skills through international arts education, creative collaboration, and performance-based learning. The program equips youth with the ability to research, interpret, and express cultural narratives responsibly through writing, performance, and visual arts.
